As 2006 comes to an end and the 2008 campaign gets going in full force, I am conducting this online poll. I had posted one of these polls last year, and Condi Rice was the winner, followed by George Allen in second. Neither of them are running, so I updated the names (added a few names also). Lets see who NH GOP primary voters are supporting heading into 2007!

The poll will close at midnight on 1/1/2007

Vote below:

Your title
IF THE 2008 PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY WAS HELD TODAY, WHO WOULD YOU VOTE FOR?
SAM BROWNBACK
JOHN COX
JIM GILMORE
NEWT GINGRICH
RUDY GIULIANI
MIKE HUCKABEE
DUNCAN HUNTER
FRANK KEATING
JOHN MCCAIN
GEORGE PATAKI
MITT ROMNEY
OTHER/UNDECIDED

Absurdity has broken out. Knowing who MontyPythonNH is, I am not too surprised.

I smell a John Cox press release bragging about his shocking second place finish in this one

I suspect that would be because of apathy - only you Cox fans voted in numbers, and he still came in 2nd.

As Vince Lombardi said: Anything other than first place is a loser!

Winning a poll on here is laughable - so please put out that press release

Winning an online poll isn't a big deal - unless it's YOUR guy, right?

None of the 'real' polls make much sense at this point, either.

Wrong, winning it only means something if people even participated. And as it is a GOP poll, who is to say that it was not offset by Dems looking for a candidate they know they can defeat easier than flushing a toilet. I didn't vote, as I saw it as a tremendous waste of time. If you want to claim this makes Cox something, go ahead, but know that many of us will be laughing at that claim.

You're doing it again - saying things I didn't say. Sad. Not going to get into it this time, though.

Correction, you accused me of believing it only means something if "My guys" wins, and that was an attack. My pointing out that "If you want to make a claim that this means something by winning on here" left it open to you to do what you want. Your attack indicated you felt it did mean something, and I think many of us would laugh at that assumption.

Another gentleman steps into the ring. This should liven up the New Hampshire primary season a bit.

He's in the wrong party.

Didn't Ron Paul run for President as a Libertarian?

I believe Ron Paul is registered as a Republican, but considers himself to represent the Libertarian viewpoints. The Libs are very excited about his Presidential run, as I can see from all the  emails I get from them.

I'd say he's a small "l" libertarian - as are many Republicans.

I don't think he has run for president before.
