Now that several weeks have passed; do you think Ayotte is conservative enough to win a NH primary against the other names floating around--such as "Ovid" ( spelling?) |

Reply with quote | #3 | Kelly's achilles heel is an investigation called for by federal judge Joseph Laplante for obstruction of justice on my request. She repeatedly lied to the Executive Council regarding this matter in a long, written reply during her nomination hearings this past March. Deputy Attorney General Bud Fitch and I will be reviewing details next week. |

Reply with quote | #5 | She was asked to respond to allegations that her office coveredup a longstanding criminal prosecution (1994) that became a federal suit (1998) and was reviewed in the state Supreme Court (2002) (2003). The case involved allegations that the Rockingham county attorney fabricated witness statements. The AG's office reviewed the case and found no wrongdoing. When asked, however, to provide the witness statements she reviewed, she was not able to do so. The US attorney got involved at this point on request of Judge Laplante. |

Reply with quote | #6 | No surprise to me that the Rockingham County prosecutors would fabricate or exclude exculpatory evidence, nor would it be a surprise to learn that the AG's office covered for them no matter who was in charge. Over the years I have seen too much evidence that the AG's office protects any and all Law enforcement and prosecutorial offices. __________________ My name is Howie Howe -

Reply with quote | #7 | Mr. Coltin, If that is your real name...
Before you go around spreading a smear campaign, I am asking nicely for you to provide some links to the sources you mention.
I have worked with Mrs. Ayotte in several organizations as she has represented the AG's Office on their behalf while being present during the organization's meetings.
She has always been professional in her work. So could those of us here have some truth to the matters you speak of?
Thanks in advance. __________________ (A man who knows no limits is granted endless possibilities. Tarr 06')

Kelly was asked by the Executive Council to respond to allegations that she was involved in a longstanding cover-up. In my responses I have used the expression, "you can not cover-up a lie, with a lie." Kelly was already under investigation on request of federal judge Laplante, but she made the matter much worse by lying repeatedly in her response. Now she is being investigated for obstruction of justice, unsworn falsification, and failure to report violations of the rules of professional conduct committed by members of her office. Her response and the underlying documents are available to anyone who requests them. Simply forward me a mail address. Other information is available by email. Reply with quote | #9 | RE: Kelly Ayotte's response to the Executive Council. This is a copy of the email I received from Executive Councilor Pignatelli indicating that the council did ask Kelly to respond regarding her involvement. As indicated in the above post, Kelly's response is available.
Mr. Coltin - I investigated the charges you reported and now know more about your case and your life than I ever thought I would know or needed to know. The fact that I did not publicly ask does not mean that I spent no time trying to figure it all out. I would be glad to share the letter I received explaining your charges and their disposition. Debora By the by, we did not hear from you at the Public Hearing yesterday to publicly explain your issues. http://www.debpignatelli.com P Think before you print Executive Council Fails to Investigate Justice Laplante's Concerns RE: Ayotte By dave coltin on Thu, 03/26/2009 - 09:57 20090326/NEWS01/903260449 Ayotte gets support from force Basic sensibility would demand that the Executive Council investigate the concerns of a federal judge who orders an investigation of Kelly Ayotte. This takes on added importance when the public does not have the opportunity to cast their vote and must rely on five individuals who supposedly are acting in their best interests. There is no justification for the Council to not have investigated these matters when a federal judge asks the U.S. Attorney's Office for an investigation. Federal Judge Joseph Laplante called for an investigation after a detailed review of information he received regarding Ayotte during his nomination hearings in the fall of 2007. The fact that the U.S. attorney is sitting on this matter raises further questions as to why the Executive Council did not conduct their own investigation [Report Violation] |

Reply with quote | #10 | This is the latest communication from Deputy Attorney General Bud Fitch.
He and I sat next to each other at Attorney General Michael Delaney's nomination hearing in July. I discussed the investigation at the hearing.
On August 6, 2009 I requested additional information. Since then we have have been in communication over the phone, through the mail, and via e-mail.
